Chakrata 1N2D
The journey to Chakrata begins with your boarding at Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi, where you’ll meet the trip coordinator around 10:00 PM. After a brief introduction, you’ll begin your overnight journey to Chakrata in a comfortable AC Traveler/Bus. There will be 2-3 stops en route for snacks and refreshments (expenses to be borne by travelers).
You will arrive in Chakrata early in the morning, greeted by the cool mountain air and beautiful views. After a quick freshen-up and breakfast at the resort, you’ll have some time to relax and take in the serene surroundings.
Post-rest, you will head out for a short drive to Lokhandi Snow View Point, the starting point for the trek to Budher Caves and Moila Top. This trek is scenic and beginner-friendly, leading you through picturesque trails lined with deodar trees and opening up to expansive views of the Himalayas.
By evening, return to the resort to unwind. If the weather permits, enjoy a bonfire and music session at the hotel. Dinner will be served at the resort, followed by an overnight stay in Chakrata.
Start your day early with breakfast at the resort. After checking out, proceed to Tiger Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in Uttarakhand. It is located about 30 km from Chakrata and requires a 1 km trek from the parking area. The fall cascades beautifully into a natural pool surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect photo and relaxation spot.
In the evening, visit the Chirmiri Sunset Point, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the Himalayas—a breathtaking finale to your Chakrata getaway.
After enjoying the sunset, begin your overnight return journey to Delhi, expected to reach by 5:00 AM the next morning.
